Better late than never: Epic Games unveils free games for March 23

Epic Games came in a bit late and finally unveiled the free games we can expect to hit the store on March 23. Usually, the company reveals its next free games at the same time as it releases the week’s offerings (on March 16, it was the strategy game Warhammer 40,000: Gladius – Remnants of War).

Oddly enough, the free titles were only revealed this Thursday (16), which has many fans worried. But the company previously confirmed that the giveaways would continue in 2023. It’s still uncertain why it took a bit longer for the content to be revealed, but at least now fans know what to expect at the end of March.

As the name implies, Chess Ultra is a chess game described by many as the “ultimate chess experience”, with VR compatibility, Grandmaster-approved AI and 4K visuals, not to mention full Twitch integration, extensive time controls, beautiful environments and chess sets and the ability to export some historical matches in Chess.

The Worlds of Warships Starter Pack comes with a ton of items for the game, including the iconic Ishizuchi (a tier 4 Japanese battleship), some epic camouflages, a harbor slot, a prize container, and more. All this is to entice people into playing World of Warships, a multiplayer game that requires strong tactics.

Overall, both games require players to exercise their thinking skills and strategize, so they’re sure to provide a lot of fun, so it’s worth checking them out.
